The JTA’s were very excited as they were invited to visit
the London Transport Museum with other JTA’s from other local schools.
We travelled to London using public transport and when we
arrived we had plenty of time to explore the museum and complete the stamper
trail. There were 13 stamps to collect at each station throughout the museum.
In the afternoon, we joined the other JTA’s for a workshop
about Art on the underground. We observed many of the amazing posters that have
been displayed on London Transport and discussed the audience and purpose of
them. We had an amazing opportunity to design our own poster which encourages
people to cycle using the slogan “It’s quicker by bike!”. Mrs Nicholls thought
our poster was the best!
We had a great day out and even saw a bus that used to
travel through Noak Hill!
