Year 6 Upcoming Trip to go Cloud Watching - Tuesday 27th February

 Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted to inform you that a trip has been booked for our Year 6 children. As part of our Broadford enrichment curriculum, we have planned an experience entitlement that will enrich the childrens learning at Broadford. This experience is that the children will go cloud watching and what better palce to visit than the IFS Cloud Cable Car. 

On Tuesday 27th February, all children should be in school by 8.30am as we will be leaving promptly at 8:45am. We will be travelling by bus and train and expect to arrive back at school before the end of the school day.

Year 5 loved having their parents/ carers visit them in class today to show off their Maths skills.

We looked at the end of year expectations, what a typical Maths test consists of and then worked through one of our weekly arithmetic tests.

“I really enjoyed making my mum do the arithmetic test because she’d forgotten some of the maths from when she was in school. She was surprised at some of the methods we use for things like simplifying fractions.” Olivia , Lime
