Year 5 construct 3d castles

This morning, year 5 children in Miss Chau's maths class are using their knowledge of 3d shapes such as dodecahedrons and tetrahedrons to design and create castles in teams. The challenge is for the children to create their own net using careful measurements and drawings!

Stubbers: Activities and Campfire

Today Year 5 have had a fun filled day of activities including high ropes and competitive raft building. The children just about managed to rescue Miss Estall from the island in the middle of the lake! Now they are sat around the camp fire talking about their peak and pit (best and worst parts) of their day, while toasting delicious marshmallows. It may well be time for some campfire songs! More updates tomorrow.
