Please see below the Spellings for Year 5, for the week beginning 21st June.
The weekly test will be on Friday. Children should hand their spelling homework books in on this day.
Pupils are expected to practise their spellings for 15 minutes per day, as well as practise their times tables and read at home. Children are encouraged to search for the definitions of the words and use them in sentences.

For both School Diversity Week and Pride Month, pupils explore whether school uniforms create a much-needed sense of belonging, or whether they stop us from showing who we really are. In the assembly, they find out about the colours of the Pride flag and how we can celebrate our differences all year round!

Another week done and suited. Well done to all of year 6 for continuing to work hard. We’ve enjoyed working on BODMAS this week where we investigated different possibilities and we’ve also been writing informal diary entries about characters from our transition book. Year 6 continued to brush up on their rounders skills by focusing on fielding this week.
