The children immediately guessed that the object had something to do with Year 5 and 6's topic; Essex War Child.
Mr Clark, our new resident sports coach, donated the exciting artefact to Years 5 and 6 as he knew about the learning that we have been doing so far.
The artefact once held cartridges for weapons during World War 2. Maple certainly enjoyed making guesses as to the object's original purpose.
