In preperation for this visit Miss Coevorden from Free the Children came into year 6 and told them the story of another surviver called Dorothy. The children felt a real connection with Dorothy's story as they uncovered more information about her and her life. They were also trying to understand Dorothy's feelings through use of a mood graph.
A big thank you to Miss Coevorden for coming in and sharing Dorothy's story with us, and also to the children for being both respectful and inquisitive around this sensitive issue.
