TfL Safety & Citizenship Workshop

This afternoon, Year 6 took part in the TfL Safety & Citizenship Workshop to prepare the children for independent travel. Moving from primary to secondary school is an exciting time for the children and there will be lots of changes including how they travel to and from their new school. For many this maybe the first time they travel to school on their own. Firstly the workshop focused on the Zip Oyster cards for 11-15 year olds and the responsibility of using them properly and ensuring they keep them safe. Afterwards they watched a video on keeping safe when travelling on buses and trains.
