Year 5-Fire Brigade presentation

This afternoon, Year 5 received a special visit from the Fire Brigade to talk about the fire safety and hazards around the home.

We discussed how fire could be prevented, safety precautions to consider and what do if there is a fire. We watched an educational video about how having a fire escape route can be life saving.

The presenter allowed time for questions at the end and encouraged the children to check with their adults at home for working smoke alarms.

If you do not currently possess a working smoke alarm, please let a member of staff know and one can be provide from the Fire Brigade along with a fire safety check.
