Year 5 Stay and Learn

On Thursday 27th February Year 5 will be having a Stay and Learn session on Guided Reading.

 

We are currently studying the book Journey to the River Sea which describes the tale of Maia, an orphan, travelling to the Amazon to meet her distant relatives.

 

 

In our Stay and Learn session you see how Guided Reading is taught in Year 5 and the focus we place on retrieval, inference and explanation skills.

 

The session will start at 9.00 am and finish at 9.30 am.
