Wow, spring term 1 is over! Well done to all of the children and to all of the parents and carers supporting them in getting through this half term. It has certainly had its challenges but we’ve made it. Now is time for a well earned rest for half term - stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all (virtually) again on Tuesday 23rd February (INSET day - Monday 22nd February).

Here are this week’s certificate winners:

E for Excellence
Bayleigh - for being the queen of resilience! Bayleigh has been working very hard on live lessons this week and even when she is finding a topic difficult, she still gives it her best shot. Very impressed!	Ameerah – for being so committed to your learning. You always turn up to your live lessons ready to learn.
Star Writer
Justinas -  for his wonderfully written comparison of his two chosen rivers. Justinas used the correct tone and formality for his piece of writing and it was very impressive.	Vinnie – for some great writing within your non-chronological piece on rivers around the world.
Presentation
Maisy - for her brilliantly presented R.E leaflet.	George – for your brilliant presentation of your rivers research - we loved the way you laid it out in a table.
Reciprocity
Polina - for your hard work and determination this week in fractions. You can confidently explain how to calculate all types of fraction questions!	Isabelle – for your brilliant fractions work with our extra maths group in the afternoons, you sure know your stuff about fractions!
Resourceful
Benita - For organising your methods of fractions so that you know what to do for each question.	Leanne – for your excellent maths knowledge when calculating the mean average of a set of numbers this week.
Resilience
Elliott - for showing resilience, even though he was having issues with his microphone this week, he still tried his best to get involved with the live lessons.	Joe – for powering through your maths learning this week. You’ve covered so many different types of questions and worked super hard to calculate the answers.
Reflectiveness
Tyler - For showing reflection in his maths lesson when he made a mistake. He was able to explain where he went wrong. Super!	John – for reflecting on how you can ‘beat the teacher’ and proved your brilliant reading skills.
I made my teacher happy
Alice - For really brightening up our maths afternoon group with your positive energy.	Tim – for your fabulous reading for the ‘beat the teacher’ competition - you certainly outshone me!
