Miss Reynolds' Maths class were today split into 2 teams; A and B. Each team was given 50 points to begin with, and played some tense table tennis in order to be declared the winner. Each time the ball was successfully hit to the opposing team 10 points were deducted from the initial 50 score. However if the ball went off of the table, only 2 points were scored. The overall winner was the team with the FEWEST points.
The game was all in aim of encouraging the children to count back using negative numbers. The children then had to decide which team was the winner depending on which score was the smallest number.
And the winner was....TEAM A!! Well done to those children!
