Yesterday, the children were battling with dastardly division calculations and after taking charge of their learning, they decided that they needed a little more practice at it.
Today, after exercising resilience and working hard to follow the steps of their learning, as well as supporting their partner to work through the calculation together, the children have well and truly cracked short division.
Not only this, but some children even went on to use their knowledge of division calculations to help solve problems with remainders!
A well-earned lunch break is certainly in order!
