Incredible Instructions

Maple and Willow have been very busy getting to grips with instruction writing this week. The children found out how to make the perfect sherbet using a few household ingredients and some not very useful instructions- though some of the sherbet was very bitter! They then used this information to write their own instructions. 

Miss Reynolds and Mrs Caccavale were very impressed with the level of vocabulary that the children were able to apply to their writing, using powerful words like: decant, combine, prevent and devour. 

Maple also looked at the layout of their instructions and how to make them most effective for their reader. The finished word-processed instructions are a great success. Well done, Maple and Willow!
