Yashvi's Diary Entry

A big well done to Maple's Yashvi Shah for her Big Write this week. Yashvi has only been at Broadford for a mere three weeks, but is already proving that she can get to grips with Year 5 and 6's Crime and Punishment topic.
Their task was to write a diary entry from the point of view of Father William Weston- a Jesuit priest in the Elizabethan era, thrown into the Clink for being a Catholic in a Protestant England and accused of being part of the Babington plot to assassinate the Queen.
Yashvi not only used a range of sentence openers and different sentence structures, she also attempted the punctuation challenge to use a hyphen...more than once!
Great work, Yashvi. A Star writer certificate is certainly coming your way!
