Acer at Sky Academy.

Acer enjoyed their trip to the Sky Studios on Thursday. They experienced a tour of the studios, as well as producing their very own news report!

First we went into the Sky Sports Studios, did you know on adverage there are 33-40 cameras, each costing around £500 each!

Next we got to see some of the HD cameras used on set, one of these camera alone costs around £100,000! Luckily the ones the children used were only £15,000 cameras!

Some of the media team at Sky came down to meet Acer and explained their jobs to the group.

Cyber bullying, is an increasing concern in this techno age. As social media becomes a bigger part of everyday life, so do the risks to children being exposed to online bullying. Suddenly victims of bullying can no longer go home to a safe place, they can face continued attacks around the clock; hounded on various forms of applications. Our children were then split into four groups, each with reporters, editors, producers and directors to work on a joint report into the dangers of cyber bullying.

Excited and full of beans, Acer first headed into the dressing rooms to get ready.

Next, they split off to produce their reports.

The day was capped of by having a photo opportunity with the loveable Sully.

Overall the kids had a fab day!
