Today, Year 6 parents and guardians joined their children in class.
The beginning of the session focused on the Writing Assessment Framework which included looking at grammar and punctuation as well as discussing End of Year Expectations that the children are expected to include in their pieces of writing. The second part of the session involved looking at the writing process that happens within Literacy lessons: hooking the children with an exciting stimulus then planning their ideas and writing the ideas into paragraphs. There was an excellent turn out and both the teachers and children were very pleased that they were able to share their learning with their adults.
