Year 5- Fractions, Decimals and Percentages!

Over the half term, Year 5 have been looking at fractions and decimal equivalence. They have all used their resilience skills to become decimal experts.


Yesterday they showed that they really are maths masters when they all were introduced to percentages. The Year 5 staff were absolutely blown away with their maths knowledge and they all completed not one, not two, but THREE worksheets in partners comparing decimals, fractions and percentages.


Miss Daly had even put some sneaky questions when the denominator wasn't 100 to try and catch the pupils out but they all applied their fractions knowledge and managed to answer ALL of the questions confidently and accurately.


What a great way to end the half term!
