Activism Art in Year 6

 

        

         

The children have been studying different artists who use their art to communicate important messages.We have discussed artists who use different mediums to express their views speaking up for sectors of

their community.

We have asked questions such as

‘Why is activism art important?’

The children have reflected on the messages portrayed and discussed their opinions. 

They have then gone onto think about a message that they believe should be promoted in their own posters,

for example:

global warming, mental health awareness or the cost of living.
