To celebrate Science Week we took part in various activities to develop our understanding of change and adaptation.
We discussed ways of how the World around us changes to include: the environment, the oceans,
Earth and the solar system, as well as how we adapt in our own personal lives. The activities we took part in were:
We thought of a playground game and how we could adapt it to make it accessible to all children.
We participated in ocean-themed Yoga positions whilst discussing how sea creatures adapt to their environment.
We completed an experiment to consider which items can be flushed away and those that can’t!
'This Science Week was really fun. I enjoyed doing interesting and mind-blowing experiments' - Meerab, Redwood
'It was extremely fun learning to make games for people with disabilities.' - Ryan, Larch
“I learnt that if you put the green paper towel or wipes down the toilet, it will clog but if you use toilet roll it won’.” Ruta , Birch
