Year 6 - East London Mosque Trip
Dear Parents and Carers,
At Broadford, we believe in providing an enriching curriculum that extends beyond the classroom. As part of our ‘experience entitlement’, we have organised an educational visit to the East London Mosque on:
Birch - Monday 14th July 2025
Redwood - Tuesday 15th July 2025
Larch - Wednesday 16th July 2025
Please complete the form here to give permission for your child to attend.
This visit will give the children a valuable opportunity to explore and learn about one of London’s most significant places of worship. It will support their understanding of religious education, cultural diversity, and promote respectful dialogue around different beliefs and traditions.
On the day of the trip, all children are expected to arrive at school promptly as we will be departing at 8.45am. We will be travelling by bus and train and aim to return to school by 3:00pm. We will keep you informed of our progress and return time via ParentPay.
Children should wear their school uniform and comfortable footwear, as there will be some walking involved. Please ensure your child brings a packed lunch and a refillable water bottle. If you would like to order a school packed lunch, please let us know in advance when you give permission for your child to attend.
Please pay close attention to the dress code for the mosque:
This promises to be a meaningful and memorable day for the children, and we are looking forward to sharing the experience with them.
