Ed Conventry spoke to the children about his various flying accolades and path to success. His various achievements include; meeting the Queen, being in the Guinness Book of World Records and owning his own helicopter.
We later met Peter Hewitt who told us his story of growing up in Romford, working on the market stall and later working hard to become the UK's youngest pilot and a renowned British Airlines pilot.
The children thoroughly enjoyed hearing about Ed and Peter's stories of dramatic landings, aerobatic performances and meeting royalty.
Both men emphasized that hard work and perseverance have been the key to their success in the aviation field and the children left feeling inspired and motivated to pursue their goals.
Alex in Maple said, "It was an educational talk and children were able to learn from it."
Adi in Elm said, "I thought that the talk was very inspiring and it was interesting to hear about their lives."
