Years 5 and 6 Fully Embrace the Colour Run Fun!

Our Year 5 and 6 pupils threw themselves into the Colour Run with amazing enthusiasm and energy! From the very first burst of colour to the final sprint, they truly embraced the spirit of the event, laughing, running, and celebrating every moment.

It was fantastic to see their confidence and pure enjoyment as they raced through the rainbow-filled course. Whether they were running with friends, throwing paint or cheering each other on, the older pupils showed brilliant teamwork and set a shining example for the younger year groups.

A huge congratulations to all our Year 5 and 6 participants — you made the day bold, bright, and unforgettable. Thank you to everyone who supported this colourful celebration of fun and fitness!

This week, Year 6 enjoyed a fantastic visit to the East London Mosque, where they were given a guided tour and learned all about the important role a mosque plays in the lives of Muslims. The visit was both educational and engaging, offering the children a deeper understanding of Islamic faith and culture.

 On the way back, we stopped at the park for a fun-filled afternoon, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. 

We are incredibly proud of how well they represented Broadford Primary School on their final trip - showing curiosity, respect and excellent behaviour throughout the day.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the Year 6 parents for organising such a fantastic leavers’ disco last Thursday evening. The event was a wonderful celebration, filled with music, dancing and joyful memories that the children will cherish as they move on to the next chapter of their journey. Your time, effort and creativity truly made the evening special and it was clear just how much it meant to the children. Thank you for helping to give them such a fun and memorable send-off!
