Our Amazing Year 6 Leavers Celebrations !

As the school year draws to a close, we prepare ourselves to say a fond farewell to our wonderful Year 6 pupils with our unforgettable leavers events that have taken place throughout the week, full of fun, laughter, and a few tears (happy ones, of course!). It has been a week packed with excitement and emotion, perfectly marking the end of a fantastic primary school journey.

Leavers Presentation

Tuesday night was our leavers presentation. Parents, carers, and staff gathered to celebrate the achievements of each pupil. Every child received a special certificate  to commemorate their time at Broadford. There were plenty of proud smiles and a few misty eyes as we watched photo slideshows and shared memories of the incredible journey these students have had.

The children were celebrating not just the academic progress but also the personal growth, kindness, and resilience shown by the class of 2025. It was a touching tribute to a truly special group of young people.

'The Leaver's Production was a heartwarming assembly for everyone.  Some people laughed and some people cried but it surely shows how much we'll miss being at Broadford' - Miraz, Redwood.

Splash Battle

Wednesday morning kicked off with a high-energy splash battle that had everyone soaked—and smiling! Armed with water pistols, cups, and water balloons, Year 6 turned the field into a mini water park. Teachers, brave as ever, got caught in the crossfire, and it’s safe to say no one came out dry! It was the perfect way to cool off and let off steam after a busy year.

' I am soaked ! - That was so much fun.' - Lavina, Larch

Disco
After school on Thursday, the children changed into their party clothes, it was time to hit the dance floor! The school hall transformed into a buzzing disco, complete with lights, music, and all the best dance moves. From the Macarena to the Cha-Cha Slide, Year 6 danced their hearts out, showing off some impressive moves and enjoying their final party together as a year group.

"I danced so hard I broke my purse!" Vanessa, Birch

A massive thank you goes out to all the staff, parents, and volunteers who helped make these events so special. And of course, a huge round of applause for our Year 6 pupils—you’ve made us proud every single day. We wish you all the very best as you take your next big step into secondary school.

Keep shining, keep learning, and most of all—keep being you.

With love from all of us at Broadford  💖
