Year 6 Cake Sale Success
We are thrilled to announce that the money raised at the recent Year 6 cake sale—an incredible £127.36—will be donated to the local charity Wipe Away Those Tears.
This charity grants wishes and brings a sparkle into the lives of terminally or seriously ill children in Essex. It does amazing work supporting children and families going through difficult times.
This year, the children were given a choice of charities to support, and after thoughtful discussion and voting, they chose Wipe Away Those Tears. We are so proud of their initiative, kindness and generosity in wanting to make a difference in their community.
Thank you to all the parents, children and staff who helped bake, sell and support this event. Your efforts truly made an impact and showed the wonderful spirit of Year 6.
Let’s keep encouraging our children to think about others and continue making positive contributions to the world around them!
