Photos and Update of Red Nose Day 2013

Red Nose Day 2013 went down a storm at Broadford Primary School today. All children were involved in lots of festivities to ensure we raised lots for Comic Relief.

Firstly, this week, Year 5 children sold Red Noses to children throughout the school. Amazingly, the two boxes of stock sold out within 2 days!

Today the children were invited to wear something red and bring in a donation. It was great to see so many children donning red socks, shirts, shoes, tights and even bow ties in aid of fundraising.

Finally, Year 5 were very busy baking yesterday in preparation for today's cake sale. There was a HUGE turn-out of children ready to part with their hard-earned pocket money in return for a delicious hand made cake.

Thank you to all who contributed in any shape or form. Your money will certainly go to a worthy cause. Thanks also to Miss Hampton, who donated two boxes of delicious, very professional looking cupcakes to our bake sale.

The busy bees in Miss Reynolds' class are counting the contributions that you gave. We will update you soon with the grand total.
