During Literacy, they each created a persuasive poster that promoted the break-time bake sale to everyone in the school. They created some fantastic masterpieces using persuasive writing and imagery to hook the audience.
Mathematics was filled with fun and excitement. They all made cupcakes for the bake sale. The students- with help from Miss Howson, Miss Reynolds and Miss Kemp- carefully measured out the ingredients, mixed them together and placed them in cupcake pans for Mrs Marchant to bake. Later on, they decorated the cupcakes with yummy red icing!
The cakes will be available for purchase at break time for 30p. Look out for the posters around the school and inform the year 5's whether you were persuaded to buy a cup cake!!
