All week, they have been learning about reflecting shapes and patterns into vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines. They have incorporated this learning into their very own Easter Egg design!
The children had to be very careful to make sure that their designs were perfect mirror images on each side of their egg design- not egg-sactly easy!
If you receive one of these egg-celent masterpieces, be sure to ask the children to explain the mathematical thinking behind its eye-catching design.
