In preparation for their Theatre of Law experience, mock trial and Royal Courts of Justice trip, the Year 6 children have been practicising their analytical and deductive skills by solving the crime of the stolen gold watch. The children were given suspect profiles, witness statements, interview transcripts and police evidence to study and were asked to present their evidence supporting their decision as to which suspect committed the crime.
I worked with my partner and studied the evidence carefully. I felt like an investigator!
