Year 5 Investigate the Evidence!

Following the abhorrent crime committed in our treasured school, Year 5 were allocated the very important job of analysing the evidence collated by the police.

Fortunately, after meticulously studying the area in which the misdemeanour took place, forensic scientists were able to extract a blood sample (believed to have been the result of smashing the TES award cabinet), a particularly muddy footprint from an Adidas trainer and even (quite astonishingly) retrieved a glove left behind at the scene.

I measured the footprint and discovered that the culprit has size 11 feet and must therefore be an adult and most likely a male! That rules out Mrs Clements - David White, Willow.

Year 5 studied this evidence, alongside looking at pictures of the TES awards night and scanning through profiles of potential suspects, to narrow down possible wrongdoers. Following an evaluation of the exhibits, the children had the opportunity to interview Mrs Nicholls in hope of placing the puzzle pieces together.

After examining the 999 transcript of Mr Martin's call to the police, I found it exceptionally suspicious that there was not any mention of the security alarm system being sounded and Mr Martin, who sets the alarm, being first on the scene - Finley Livingstone, Elm.

I know the manager of McDonalds so I know that his efit must be reliable. That one is definitely the most reliable - Jameel Ore, Maple.

Year 5 are still working hard to unveil the true identity of the masked menace. Any updates will continue to be shared with children and parents alike.
