Today, the wonderful Samanyu and Leo represented Broadford School Council in a meeting at Brookside school. To begin, I was super proud of the boys, who kickstarted the meeting with a PowerPoint presentation (designed by Mr Handoo) on healthy eating. They discussed what our school has done to promote healthy eating, presented the children with valuable statistics and displayed what healthy and unhealthy foods looks like.
After the presentation, the children designed menus from across the world including a World Cup, Winter Olympics, and a Mexican menu etc. The children then had the opportunity to explore Brookside school, before finally heading back.
I am super proud of our representatives today, I look forward to our next meeting.
