School Council to City Hall

Yesterday, our wonderful School Council representatives went on an adventure to City Hall, which was an absolutely stunning building, and apparently took longer to build than the shard (despite the difference in height.)

On arrival, we went to the conference room, where we received our very own City Hall pen, book and bag. The book and pen came in very handy as the children were then informed on how the City of London is run and could jot down any notes.

Following this, we headed to the assembly, where we met the actual Mayor, who was being questioned about transport for London. We don't mean to brag, but Broadford even received a special shout out during the question time as we were welcomed in.

The children also had the opportunity to look at how London has changed through the years and ask any questions before proceeding to eat our lunch with the stunning views of our city.
