Wonder (film) | Wonder Wiki | Fandom

Miss Broom and  I have decided we would love to keep in contact with you over summer and read to you. You can access our video clips on here or on google classroom. We are going to be reading 'Wonder' which is a fantastic book about a child who feels slightly different from everyone else. He is very comedic! Here are our next clips:

Year 5 Question and Answers (current Year 4)

Questions & Answers – Islamic Organization of Medical Sciences

Thank you so much for all of your questions Year 4! If you have any more questions, or if parents have any more questions please do not hesitate to email year56@broadford.havering.sch.uk

You should by now have received a call from your new teacher. If you still aren't sure on your new teacher for September the blog we posted is here.

Thank you for your questions, we have enjoyed answering them. Please find the answers below.

Are we allowed to bring in our own pens and pencils?
In each classroom every pupil will be provided with their own pencil case, filled with all the stationery they will need.

Who are the TAs in Year 5?
The adults working alongside the class teachers in Year 5 will be Mrs Axford and Mrs Stallard.

What lessons are there in Year 5 and will we be having fun?
We are going to have lots of fun learning about different periods in history, space and the solar system, famous artists and artistic techniques, different styles of music and explore a variety of literature. We look forward to setting class and year group challenges on Rockstars and seeing who can be crowned victorious as Rockstars champion.

Will we be going swimming?
In reference to Year 5 swimming, we are waiting for government guidelines to be announced. You will hear from us in due course.

Are the classrooms going be set out differently?
Currently, all desks are facing forwards at the moment until we receive different information.

Will we get to see our class one more time before moving into Year 5?
In September you will get the opportunity to reconnect with all your class mates.

We look forward to seeing you all in September. Have a lovely summer holiday. Stay safe.

Year 5 Team.

Year 5 End of Year

Hello Year 5!

It's hard to believe that tomorrow is the last day of the Summer term. Normally, we would be reflecting and celebrating our time together with some games, an assembly or two and a 'Go Bonkers' day.

This year we are not able to say goodbye in person so we have collated a few pictures from our time together, hopefully it will help you remember and reflect upon the good times we have had.

We hope you have a brilliant summer and enjoy a well-deserved break before returning back to school September.

Stay safe and well,

Year 5

Year 5 Home Learning and Spellings W.C. 13.07.2020

Hello Year 5!

We can't quite believe that this is the last week of the school year. No one could have predicted this challenging, unusual and unprecedented time nor guessed that we would be spending the last days of the Summer term at home.

We want to thank all children, parents and carers for their commitment to learning and resilience over these last few months.

We hope that you have a wonderful summer break and perhaps, as restrictions relax, take the opportunity to see friends and family.

As always, if you have any concerns please contact:
