We have had a great time this term and are looking forward to all the play opportunities in Spring Term

We hope that you enjoy the Christmas holidays and please think of the school if you have any items to donate.

Please take any donations to the school office.

Mighty Muffins in Year 6

                  Mighty Muffins in Year 6

As part of our D.T and RSE units, Year 6 have been learning about keeping our bodies and minds healthy. They have learnt about the dfferent food groups,  the various nutrients in foods and the impact those nutrients have on our bodies. As part of food technology, the children designed their very own healthy savory muffins. Today, Birch, Larch and Redwood competed in their very own bake off with surprising results... they actually liked their muffins!

Edward in Birch explained how important it was very everyone to wash their hands before cooking and even asked about wearig a hairnet.

Deivydas in Redwood said, " I don't like sweetcorn - but this tastes goooooooood!"

Lexie in Larch said, " It hasn't got chocolate and I still like it."

Please note that Lime (Year 5 ) and Elm (Year 4) class had their final swimming session last week so there will be no lesson this week.

Lime class children will need to be collected/ will be walking home at the normal time of 3.15.

Thank you!
