Years 6 Fully Embrace the Colour Run Fun!

Our Year 6 pupils threw themselves into the Colour Run with amazing enthusiasm and energy! From the very first burst of colour to the final sprint, they truly embraced the spirit of the event, laughing, running, and celebrating every moment.

It was fantastic to see their confidence and pure enjoyment as they raced through the rainbow-filled course. Whether they were running with friends, throwing paint or cheering each other on, the older pupils showed brilliant teamwork and set a shining example for the younger year groups.

A huge congratulations to all our Year 6 participants — you made the day bold, bright, and unforgettable. Thank you to everyone who supported this colourful celebration of fun and fitness!

Year 6 - Cloud Watching and a Sunny Sports Afternoon!

 Year 6 Activity Afternoon

Year 6 had a fantastic afternoon enjoying the lovely weather while taking part in a range of exciting activities. We began with some peaceful cloud watching before the children took on the role of hosts for a variety of events, including rounders, vortex throwing competitions, sprint races, basketball shootouts and chess matches.

The children showed great teamwork, enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the afternoon, encouraging one another and taking pride in leading each activity. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves while making the most of the sunshine.

A huge well done to all of Year 6 for their excellent behaviour and positive attitudes. They represented the school brilliantly and should be very proud of themselves!

Year 6's Final Wild Passport!

 

This week, Year 6 enjoyed a fantastic outdoor learning session where they made mini pizzas and delicious s’mores over an open fire. The children worked together safely and responsibly, showing excellent teamwork and enthusiasm throughout the activity.

A key focus of the session was our Respect value. Pupils demonstrated respect for one another by sharing equipment, listening carefully to instructions, and encouraging their peers. They also showed respect for the environment by helping to keep the area tidy and following fire safety rules.

Everyone had a wonderful time developing new skills, building confidence, and enjoying some tasty treats around the fire! 🔥🍕🍫
