Sophia's Celebration in Year 6!

On Friday we were so excited to celebrate with Sophia as she has officially finished her chemotherapy! The children danced to music, ate snacks and some children even brought Sophia some personal gifts! 

It was so lovely to see them all showing Sophia their support.

We wish Sophia the best of luck for future procedures - we are so proud of her!

Please see below the Spellings for Year 5, for the week beginning 29th March.

The weekly test will be on Thursday this week as it is the last day of the Spring term. As we are now unfortunately back to online learning, this will be done via video on Google Classroom.

Pupils are expected to practise their spellings for 15 minutes per day, as well as practise their times tables and read at home. Children are encouraged to search for the definitions of the words and use them in sentences.

Year 5 Home Learning

 

Unfortunately, Year 5 will be finishing the Spring term online once again. 

Everything that the children will need for their home learning will be posted on Google Classroom, as it was before. 

Children should log on by 09.00am to begin their learning. There will be live lessons posted throughout the day and different tasks for them to complete.

It is really important that the children engage with the online learning and complete the tasks set, just as they would be expected to do if they were in school.

Here is the link to the Timetable, but please remember, it is only a suggested timetable and we understand that it won't be suitable for everyone. You can choose to follow it or you can dip in and out depending on your child's needs.
