OPAL- Outdoor Play and Learning
We are still loving this gorgeous weather we are having but also very grateful for the shade when we can find it.
Under the canopy we have quite a few tables. On these we can draw, read, chat quietly or play with the small world resources.
One of our favourites is the Lego. We can build roads, cars, tracks and buildings of all shapes and sizes.

Year 5 Trip to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
Year 5 were so lucky with the weather this week as they enjoyed their day out on Monday at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
It was a quick journey to Stratford, the children displayed exemplary behaviour on the trains which was a real pleasure to see.
After arriving at Stratford there was a long walk to find the best part of the park. The children were undeterred and showed great reciprocity in following the directions. When they arrived, it was clear that the walking had not tired them out and they were able to climb, run, jump, leap and swing across all of the equipment.
After lunch the children took another walk to get to the famous Olympic rings. It wasn't an easy climb, however, the children were resilient and made sure they got to the top for their group picture.
Overall it was a really lovely day. The children did Broadford and their parents proud.
On the 11th July 2023, Year 6 will be having their Leavers Event and Graduation Assembly.
This will be a wonderful opportunity for the children to look back on all their memories at Broadford and a chance for staff and parents to celebrate their primary school chapter ending.
Year 6 will stay after school to enjoy some rounders and food before parents arrive.
The children are invited to bring a change of clothes to change into.
Parents will be welcomed in the Old Hall at 5:15pm for a 5:30pm start.
Closer to the date we will be sending out a letter with two tickets per child, this is to ensure that we don't exceed capacity in the hall.
