Year 5s decimal problems

Miss Reynolds is very proud of her year 5s today. They have made extraordinary progress this week. At the start of the week the prospect of multiplying a decimal number by even a single digit seemed a daunting task for them. However today they proved that they can not only multiply decimals by a single digit, but they can also multiply them by a two digit number, add them, and even calculate problems involving decimals. All with a little bit of chalk, a bit of reciprocity and some glorious sunshine.
What a clever bunch they are!
