Yesterday, we welcomed actors from The Sky Blue Theatre into Years 5 and 6. As part of our studies on Shakespeare's Macbeth, the actors came in to give a performance and lead some exciting workshops based around the play. The actors, who are returning visitors to our school, showed children how to create some physical comedy, movie trailers and powerful description of the famous "double double toil and trouble" scene.
At lunchtime, the entire school was treated to a reinactment of the famous fight scene from Romeo and Juliet. John and his colleagues were so impressed with one of our budding actors throughout the day, that they awarded him with their coveted "Best Actor" award. We look forward to welcoming back the Sky Blue Theatre next year.
