Year 6 have been working hard this week on analysing their new piece of media, 'The Piano' by Aidan Gibbons in Literacy. In the video, which can be watched here, they see an elderly man reminiscing on happy moments throughout his life and remembering more poignant ones.
They have thought carefully about how the music reflects the mood of the man and discussed the different emotions that the piece evokes.
"I noticed that when the man lost his friend at war, the music stopped for just a moment. It is almost like his whole world stopped in that moment because the sadness took over him. But, the music then carried on like life does." Giada, Lime class
