Over the past few weeks a group of children from Year 5 have been using their Tuesday afternoons to develop their self-reflective skills and analyse their role in a group situation through lots of different activities such as building fires and playing team games.
Today the group went on an orienteering trip around Harold Hill where they had to work together to reach a destination. They played lots of team games and then came back to school to make a fire and eat s'mores!
After their jam packed day the children completed their circle time, sharing highs and lows of the day. Mrs Ward and Miss Betty attended their 'graduation' where their area of growth from the 4 weeks was discussed and presented to them.
Well done to all these children! It was a pleasure to hear you all reflect on your time today.
