Every hero deserves a cape
A huge well done to all of our Broadford children, they each decorated an individual poppy that was then put together to form this beautiful display in honour of those that fought for our country.
It is so very important that we recognise this momentous period of history and give thanks to those heroes who live on in our memories - lest we forget.
We hope you all had a lovely half term break, the children have returned to school refreshed and ready to learn!

Welcome back! The
first week of the half term has seen some fantastic work being produced. We

Your child will have their log in written in their reading record to use.

See below the Year 5 Spellings for the week beginning 02.11.20.
The children should be practising both their spellings and Rock star times tables each night. Please remember to send the children's red Spelling book into school every Friday so that they can complete their test.
The 1st - 7th November is Parliament Week.
To mark Parliament Week, pupils will be exploring how the UK is run and why some of our politicians have been in the news lately. This will include discussion of the recent Free School Meals debate.
