Year 5 measure the area and perimeter of the outdoor courts

This morning children in Miss Chau's maths set ventured outside to measure the area and perimeter of the basketball and netball courts and the football pitch. The children worked as a team and applied their knowledge to a real life problem of helping measure out the outside space for future line painting.
