Year 5 have been busy exploring different art techniques in the style of Banksy. After experimenting with name tags and graffiti writing, it was time to move on to creating, designing and making stencils.
They had to use their resourcefulness skills to find which material would be best to use when stenciling. The children discovered that stiff card was the idea material compared to sugar paper, because it held the shape of the stencil and was not compromised when wet.
