Smashing Science Projects in Year 6!

Year 6 have not just been sitting their SATs papers this week. They have also been developing their scientific enquiry skills and knowledge by researching how to keep your heart healthy. They have worked hard to put together their own project / presentation full of informative information!

Some children showed wonderful reciprocity and decided to work together, others chose to be resilient and work independently on their project.

"I decided to write a story about Mr Heart and then explain what he does in a normal day to stay healthy." Freddie S, Almond

"I loved learning about the heart and making my slide presentation with Jacob", Frankie, Almond

"It was very interesting to learn about how to keep your heart healthy. I learnt all about cardiovascular fitness and how important it is for us all to keep active." Harry, Almond

"Our group decided to make a video performance on a patient having heart disease. They had a heart attack and the doctor explained how they could change their life around to keep their heart healthy!" - Klaidi, Oak

"Madds and I made a presentation on how to keep your heart healthy. We put in there a joke about what your brain wants versus what your heart wants, because sometimes they can be very different!" - Sophie, Oak
