Year 6 Pizza Express Trip
Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed themselves when they visited Pizza Express.
On arrival, the children were spoken to about how hygiene is important when cooking, they washed their hands, put aprons and hats on to ensure that the cooking environment was hygienic.
One by one, each child learnt how to spread their pizza sauce and then decorated their pizza with cheese and the Italian herb, oregano.
The children were then tested on the range of ingredients that they could put on a pizza.
The children had an excellent time and they all said their pizzas tasted delicious!
The staff were very impressed with how the children behaved and how polite they were.
Gurrehmat- I learnt that when making a pizza, you have to push the dough to the edge of the pan otherwise the sauce will run.
Lilly- I learn that oregano is an Italian herb.
