Internet Safety Talk
Year 5 were very fortunate today as they received a visit from the Police.
Three police officers came to school to discuss Internet Safety. We reflected on the many benefits of the internet and using it in our daily lives.
We we also asked to be very resourceful when thinking about the dangers that the internet could bring.
The police officers explained what we needed to do to keep ourselves safe. Many different scenarios were discussed and the children were given opportunities to ask questions where needed.
The main apps our children use were discussed and the age restrictions guessed and explained.
The children were all very attentive and really felt like they have learned a lot from their session.
