This week in Year 6, we have been preparing to, and writing, our persuasive letters based on our text Rooftoppers. We have had lots of dicsussion about our characters: Charles, Sophie and Miss Eliot. We considered their personalities, what's important to them and inferred their opinion from the text. We are firstly writing a letter as Miss Eliot, the Social Care Worker, who believes that Sophie should be taken from Charles as he is not a suitable carer before writing as Sophie herself!
We are looking forward to seeing the final pieces!
