Last week, the children took part in a production of Romeo & Juliet. Actors from the Sky Blue Theatre, guided them through the story, using props and costumes, the children were transported into the play. Shakespearean language was brought to life for the children despite the difficulty of some of the language the children had the fabulous actors to translate to modern English. After the production was performed the children took part in two workshops. The children separated into two groups, during the first workshop the children explored in depth the death scene of Romeo and Juliet. In the second workshop, the children looked at what they would need to produce a trailer for a new production of the play.
