Knife Crime Workshop
This week in year 5, we had the opportunity to observe a knife crime assembly and take part in a knife crime workshop. The workshop started off with an assembly which hooked us all into a character named Gabriel and how he was stuck at a crossroad and unsure off which path to cross. We had to use our resilience; due to how the topic was at time intense. We had to use our resourcefulness: when we attempted to apply empathy and consider our own experiences when providing suggestions. We also used our reflectiveness: when we considered our close friends and families, most importantly our own safe adults.
