Year 2 Sportshall Athletics
Last Thursday, we were fortunate enough to take a team of Year 2 children to Hornchurch Sports Centre to take part in the Sportshall Athletics competition, which is run by the Havering Sports Collective.
The children showed huge resilience as they competed in a variety of events including: relay races, speed bounce, hurdles, bowling, long jump, javalin and chest push. They represented their school excellently with their determination and inspiring reciprocity to their team mates (and the other schools participating).
Broadford Primary School came 9th and all the children deserve to be very proud of themselves!
We can't wait for the next event!
